The Best shave preparation you will ever need

Who’s ever tried to shave after a quick splash of water and a lick of shave foam because of time . Yep that’s been me also . Scraping that area with a unprepared skin routine blumin hurts . Oh and then maybe add to that a old razor head that should of been changed a couple of weeks earlier . So living in the real world ha ? Well it doesn’t have to be all like that .
I thought I would share some shave prep hacks that’s won’t give you to much of a time drain in the mornings.
first of all the boring facts about our sharp little facial hairs , I don’t mean the little baby fine ones on the cheeks either . So they are brutal and like mini steel wires . Remember the bum fluff days and the first time we saw our mate after he was let loose with his first shave . Cuts galore . Oh my days . Thanks the lord for toilet paper hey .
so we get older and after the years of shaving we start to define and pull off a cheeky 5 o’clock shadow . Always looks good with a sharp edge and hats off to all my Asian friends and readers out their . You got the shave moves ! So edgy with the sharp lines . Love the art guys .
Alarm going off at 6am and the thought of a long getting ready routine doesn’t exactly want to make us get up guys . So I mentioned some hacks and yes you have read on and I love you for sticking with my dodgy punctuation . Haha

Okay so the most important aspect of the prep we all need to allow time for is for hot water and steam . Believe it or not that’s the main part and trust me the important part of a pre shave routine . The shower is our tool in the box shave essentials and it must run nice and hot . Creating a nice steam without having to invest in one of those chunky size facial steamers . Btw if you own one then great but I think they take a bit of time to heat the water up . So we are having our power shower and it’s nice and hot . Steaming up the door and windows , what’s the worst word you written in the glass door when it’s all steamed up ?
I continue , so however it’s also starting to soften out facial beard or stubble before we face the razor . Did you know that our little stubble follicles expand and plump up when they are exposed to hot water and steam . Yep they do indeed . Now we use our Face Wash and hopefully if you been paying attention to my exfoliate or not to exfoliate blog we should be exfoliating at least a couple of times a week . This is our anti-ingrown hair revealing weapon as it really helps lift our facial hair follicles . Did you know and you probably going to roll your eyes now as of course you do . Ingrown hairs alert ! Yes , caused by shaving and black men suffer terribly from this . Horrid and the spots and inflammation this causes is not nice . I explored this in my shaving and irritation Blog so I’m not going to go on . Anyway exfoliating is a good thing to support this from not happening . Anyway back to the prep .

Next brilliant hack that you going to love . So invest in a little flannel . Just please make sure nobody shares on there other body parts , frown moment yes . Guys you got it someone will use it if it’s not out of bounds . Seriously tho we don’t want to use anything that’s harboured bacteria and then then use on the face, not a good look is a face full of rash and spots . So you are going to need to rinse said flannel in lovely hot water . As hot as you can bare it . Your creating a hot towel . Simply place on your face for about 10 seconds gently patting it on the stubble area . This is continuing to lift and plump those hair folicles I will say it’s again lift and plump up the little hairs (now not as steel wired as they once were 15 minutes ago )

Next the final part before you launch the razor is a blob of moisturiser for ultimate facial hair softening . Just in the area you want to shave . Do this before you put on your shave foam or shave gel or shave oil . I know what everyone’s thinking is that the foams and shave gels contain a lubricant to moisturise . Well yes they do sort of . However your giving yourself the best shave the ultimate shave don’t forget . So see the moisturiser as intensifying the foam gel or oil you then apply . Now the shaving begins . One thing to remind ourselves on is don’t shave up the grain of the hairs so no upwards against the natural direction your hairs grow , until the final stroke to give the final closeness , do only once please or that’s sure to bugger up your skin . Nice red rash roar look , nooooo thanks .
final little hack is splash your face with cold water , a brilliant natural way to tone and close those pores . Don’t do this with warm or hot water as this open pores and we don’t want to expose pores with bacteria . So cold yes . Then pat your face dry with a clean towel . Oh yes speaking of clean towels . If you don’t change regularly you are going to just infuse your face with tons of bacteria and get spots . So be warned . Add a good moisturiser and then go and get them tiger .
